Multimedia Designer & SEO Analyst
Introduction
We are seeking a versatile and creative Multimedia Designer & SEO Analyst to join our team. This role combines graphic design, web design, and SEO expertise to create visually appealing, user-friendly, and search-optimised digital content. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design, technical web development skills, and a deep understanding of SEO best practices.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design, Web Development, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5+ years proven experience in graphic design, web design, and SEO.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects and successful SEO campaigns.
- Proficiency in design software (Adobe Creative Suite), web development languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), and CMS platforms (WordPress).
- Excellent understanding of SEO principles and tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush).
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Roles & Responsibilities
Graphic Design:
- Conceptualise and create visually appealing graphics, illustrations, logos, and layouts for various media.
- Develop and maintain brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all visual content.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to produce engaging content for online campaigns, print ads, websites, and videos.
- Use design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) to create high-quality graphics.
Web Design:
- Design and develop responsive and user-friendly websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and CMS platforms like WordPress.
- Ensure websites are visually appealing, easy to navigate, and optimised for performance.
- Collaborate with developers to implement new features and improve existing ones.
- Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to improve user experience.
SEO:
- Conduct keyword research and implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies to improve website rankings.
- Optimise website content, meta tags, and images for search engines.
- Monitor and analyse website performance using tools like Google Analytics and Search Console.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends and algorithm updates to ensure best practices are followed.
